Hmmmm? Where may she have gone~?

[Keiichi's voice filters through the journals. Those who know him will rejoice in noticing that he sounds male again... Until they take notice of the strange tone he talks with. It's not an odd tone in him, it's sweet and playful even, but somehow it holds a cord of danger in it.

His voice sounds distant and there's no image in the journal, seems to have activated on its own and that Keiichi isn't paying attention to it.]

That small and sneaky rat, she has a knack for surviving no matter what, doesn't she? Maybe I should take things seriously, games are fun but I'm already tired of this one. Rats should be exterminated anyway, right? We don't want them biting our good and innocent kids anymore.

[Rummaging sounds, he seems to be looking for something before he moves to the journal. He smiles calmly and relaxed, a normal Keiichi smile... Except that his eyes are gold. But that can't be necessarily bad, right?

He opens his mouth to say something but thinks it better apparently.]

If anyone needs me, I'll be doing a small hunt. Oh, yeah, has everyone regained their senses by the way? Or are you all still having fun with the Malnosso?

Keiichi will be found around the village, apparently searching for something or just observing around. He would look normal, if it wasn't because besides the gold eyes he's dressed in definitively different clothes to what he would usually wear, and somehow in person, it's easy to say there's something... Different in him even if one ignores his appearance.

If your name is Miyoko or Takano it would be wise to stay out of his sight unless you have someone with you.]

[She slowly starts to back away.]

[Again with running away? Then again when has she done anything different? The only time she moved forward was when she was promised success no matter what, even if she herself was useless and pathetic. Other than that, she was only good at running.]

Too difficult to guess? Okay, next question, an easy one this time... Are you planning to run away again? Maybe back to that home you got with that Keiichi?

[Of course that Keiichi was him himself but... Well, if she will believe it why not use it?]

[It's weird. She doesn't know who this person is supposed to be -- only that he looks like Keiichi and seems to know that she's living with him at the moment -- but she can't help but feel as if she's in danger being near him.

Therefore, she tries to toughen up a little, backing up still.]

[He seems rather amused, and he hasn't yet even done a thing to really make her worry. Primo smiles, widely, his eyes even seem to glow for a second.]

I suppose it doesn't matter anyway. You won't find anything there, that nice Keiichi that took you in... I got him out of the way.

[Meaning that he's done being nice with her, but she can take it as whatever she wants.]

[The way she takes it? Is the worst way possible. And it shows on her face. Backing up a little faster now.]

No ... No! You're lying ...!

[Oh, he sees that expression, and he's even more amused by it than before. She can back up all she wants, it's not as if he can't keep up and in fact he shows it to her, suddenly being closer to her than before, a hand caressing her hair with fake affection.]

[And he cackles.]

[... She's in danger. She can definitely tell that much. This guy is ... there's something weird about him, and she doesn't want to stick around and find out what it is.

He let's her run though. Run all you want, he knows now where you are, and for a wizard it's not hard to keep following you in one way or another. He'll allow her to run first, get again some sense of safety, if she is capable of such a thing. Before showing her how much better her orphanage was.]

[For now, she'll just continue to run. She doesn't know who to run to, since she kept herself away from people (and the other two who helped her are children, so she couldn't endanger them too), so she's going to attempt going it alone.

Therefore, she'll be heading to find either a house or an apartment. Who knows where she'll end up, though.]

[Wherever she ends, she won't remain alone for long. Primo will appear there, he has to be sure she won't appear through the house for as long as she remains as a child. And maybe, with some luck, get into her older self the knowledge that he's done playing nice.]

[Miyoko didn't want to believe that her new friend had "gone away", so of course, one of the first things she did was start off in the direction of the house she had been staying in.

... But when she got close to it, she got scared, backed away from it, and instead ran into the house across the street -- House #29. She decides to stay there for now, until she can think of a better area to hide in.]

[She was lucky, again, to get scared and ran into the empty house. His point was to drive her away from the house at the very least after all, he wouldn't have liked to see her there.

Not that he likes the place she chooses, too close to their house and Minato. Oh well, it's not as if he needs to use the door to enter and be seen, right?]

Welcome, Miyoko-chan. Aren't you going to say hi to Keiichi?

[The lights turn on on their own, Primo is sitting calmly on a chair. His feet raised and resting on another piece of furniture, but that's not what Miyoko will see. Instead she will be greeted by the sight of "Keiichi"'s corpse, full of wounds and blood, his body bended in ways that aren't possible naturally.]

I didn't think you would find him so fast. Do you want a prize?

[After all she had seemed to understand it that way, right? That Keiichi was dead. Well, Primo isn't heartless enough to deny a child what they want.]

[That's--

Miyoko stares at the body in shock, unable to move for a few moments. The most she can bring herself to do is sluggishly back away, before stopping and letting out a horrified scream.

This place wasn't better. This place wasn't better at all.]

[He cackles upon hearing her scream, enjoying the sound and her expression. Seems he didn't disappoint her expectations, that's good, right?]

He wanted to wait for you but it seems he couldn't hold on for so long.

[Another cackle and then he teleports to look at her from just centimeters away.]

So, Miyoko-chan, what prize do you want for having found Keiichi?

[Primo's sudden appearance right in front of her jolts her into action, making her move away almost immediately.]

Leave me alone!

[With that, she tries to run out of the room.]

[Minato had made a short circuit of the neighborhood after stopping by Keiichi's house, with no sign of his presence. He was about to head back and wait at the house when he spies a familiar girl dashing into a neighbor's house. Finding that strange, he heads after her at a normal pace until the shrill scream galvanizes him to quicker action. He pushes his way through the front door.]

Miyoko-chan!

[Oh, look, the baby-sitter... What is he doing calling for that rat? Right, of course, just a child and what not. The fun of this has suddenly gone through the drain, and he had hoped to chase her, make her run until she fell somewhere and broke her pretty little neck.

Primo snarls at Minato's voice and dispels the illusion of the corpse, it has done its job anyway. Now, what to do? Chase her despite Minato's presence? Go away and let Minato deal with her? She has seen "Keiichi"'s corpse, she won't want to go there, will she? But he can't have her stay with Minato either, not with Minato keeping samples of the medicine. He doesn't want Takano to know who his allies are, though probably it'll be hard to keep this alliance as a secret no matter what he does.

He will wait inside for now, just for a small moment. Say Miyoko-chan, you have seen what has happened with a person who was nice to you and took you in, gave you clothes and food and a house to sleep in, promises of a peaceful and happy life once more... Are you really such a good and innocent child to be terrified enough and avoid having others help you and get in danger? Or are you just a selfish rat who searches for nothing but ruin for everyone except you?]

[Of course, the last thing Miyoko wants to do is stay with anyone after what she just saw. So, when she hears someone call her name, she stops short, staring at the person.

... They seem familiar but-- but it couldn't be Minato. Minato's a kid, after all.

So, she backs up, just a bit, half wanting to run to this new person and half wanting to stay away from them, in case they end up just like Keiichi did.]

S-stay away ...

[he's aware that, as an 'adult' now she probably won't trust him as easily. Still, he has to figure out what happened to make her this frightened. He doesn't even need the Malnosso's help to tell she's terrified - her face says it all.]

It's okay, I won't hurt you.

[She shakes her head, slowly.]

... N-no ... he'll kill you, too! So stay away ...!

['he', huh...]

I won't let that happen.

[Stupid rat. This is why you will eventually end back at that orphanage you hate so much. For someone who is in dire danger you have the habit of stopping to talk too much.]

If you really want him to leave you, the wise thing would be to keep running away, brat.

[Primo's voice comes from the inside, but he won't be getting out yet. The voice sounds pretty normal for Keiichi again, relaxed and calm even. It could fool people... If it wasn't for the circumstances they are currently in.

He idly wonders if the reminder that he's there... That he knows that she's with someone trying to help her, will do anything on the child.]

[If Keiichi was any hint, running away from someone who calls out for you only ends in them chasing you -- so she decided to try convincing him to go away by scaring him.

But regardless, Primo's voice snaps her out of that idea, making her instead run off, trying to pass Minato and get out of the house.]

[Minato doesn't prevent her from leaving - it's probably better to keep her and Keiichi separate. But now his expression is hard and he steps towards the voice. It was obvious now who he'd meant by 'rat.' For whatever reason he'd now turned against Miyoko.]

Keiichi, what are you trying to do?

[Keiichi is at the room where he terrified Miyoko, totally chilling at the chair and using the footrest as before. Just that this time the footrest remains as a piece of furniture.]

Right now? Relaxing.

If you were talking about the brat though, I was just making sure she will think twice before getting close to the house again. And that her older self will have a few nice memories when she returns.
