Hmmmm? Where may she have gone~?

[Keiichi's voice filters through the journals. Those who know him will rejoice in noticing that he sounds male again... Until they take notice of the strange tone he talks with. It's not an odd tone in him, it's sweet and playful even, but somehow it holds a cord of danger in it.

His voice sounds distant and there's no image in the journal, seems to have activated on its own and that Keiichi isn't paying attention to it.]

That small and sneaky rat, she has a knack for surviving no matter what, doesn't she? Maybe I should take things seriously, games are fun but I'm already tired of this one. Rats should be exterminated anyway, right? We don't want them biting our good and innocent kids anymore.

[Rummaging sounds, he seems to be looking for something before he moves to the journal. He smiles calmly and relaxed, a normal Keiichi smile... Except that his eyes are gold. But that can't be necessarily bad, right?

He opens his mouth to say something but thinks it better apparently.]

If anyone needs me, I'll be doing a small hunt. Oh, yeah, has everyone regained their senses by the way? Or are you all still having fun with the Malnosso?

[Look who's talking.

Keiichi will be found around the village, apparently searching for something or just observing around. He would look normal, if it wasn't because besides the gold eyes he's dressed in definitively different clothes to what he would usually wear, and somehow in person, it's easy to say there's something... Different in him even if one ignores his appearance.

If your name is Miyoko or Takano it would be wise to stay out of his sight unless you have someone with you.]

Miyoko stares at the body in shock, unable to move for a few moments. The most she can bring herself to do is sluggishly back away, before stopping and letting out a horrified scream.

This place wasn't better. This place wasn't better at all.]

[He cackles upon hearing her scream, enjoying the sound and her expression. Seems he didn't disappoint her expectations, that's good, right?]

He wanted to wait for you but it seems he couldn't hold on for so long.

[Another cackle and then he teleports to look at her from just centimeters away.]

So, Miyoko-chan, what prize do you want for having found Keiichi?

[Primo's sudden appearance right in front of her jolts her into action, making her move away almost immediately.]

Leave me alone!

[With that, she tries to run out of the room.]

[Minato had made a short circuit of the neighborhood after stopping by Keiichi's house, with no sign of his presence. He was about to head back and wait at the house when he spies a familiar girl dashing into a neighbor's house. Finding that strange, he heads after her at a normal pace until the shrill scream galvanizes him to quicker action. He pushes his way through the front door.]

Miyoko-chan!

[Oh, look, the baby-sitter... What is he doing calling for that rat? Right, of course, just a child and what not. The fun of this has suddenly gone through the drain, and he had hoped to chase her, make her run until she fell somewhere and broke her pretty little neck.

Primo snarls at Minato's voice and dispels the illusion of the corpse, it has done its job anyway. Now, what to do? Chase her despite Minato's presence? Go away and let Minato deal with her? She has seen "Keiichi"'s corpse, she won't want to go there, will she? But he can't have her stay with Minato either, not with Minato keeping samples of the medicine. He doesn't want Takano to know who his allies are, though probably it'll be hard to keep this alliance as a secret no matter what he does.

He will wait inside for now, just for a small moment. Say Miyoko-chan, you have seen what has happened with a person who was nice to you and took you in, gave you clothes and food and a house to sleep in, promises of a peaceful and happy life once more... Are you really such a good and innocent child to be terrified enough and avoid having others help you and get in danger? Or are you just a selfish rat who searches for nothing but ruin for everyone except you?]

[Of course, the last thing Miyoko wants to do is stay with anyone after what she just saw. So, when she hears someone call her name, she stops short, staring at the person.

... They seem familiar but-- but it couldn't be Minato. Minato's a kid, after all.

So, she backs up, just a bit, half wanting to run to this new person and half wanting to stay away from them, in case they end up just like Keiichi did.]

S-stay away ...

[he's aware that, as an 'adult' now she probably won't trust him as easily. Still, he has to figure out what happened to make her this frightened. He doesn't even need the Malnosso's help to tell she's terrified - her face says it all.]

It's okay, I won't hurt you.

[She shakes her head, slowly.]

... N-no ... he'll kill you, too! So stay away ...!

['he', huh...]

I won't let that happen.

[Stupid rat. This is why you will eventually end back at that orphanage you hate so much. For someone who is in dire danger you have the habit of stopping to talk too much.]

If you really want him to leave you, the wise thing would be to keep running away, brat.

[Primo's voice comes from the inside, but he won't be getting out yet. The voice sounds pretty normal for Keiichi again, relaxed and calm even. It could fool people... If it wasn't for the circumstances they are currently in.

He idly wonders if the reminder that he's there... That he knows that she's with someone trying to help her, will do anything on the child.]

[If Keiichi was any hint, running away from someone who calls out for you only ends in them chasing you -- so she decided to try convincing him to go away by scaring him.

But regardless, Primo's voice snaps her out of that idea, making her instead run off, trying to pass Minato and get out of the house.]

[Minato doesn't prevent her from leaving - it's probably better to keep her and Keiichi separate. But now his expression is hard and he steps towards the voice. It was obvious now who he'd meant by 'rat.' For whatever reason he'd now turned against Miyoko.]

Keiichi, what are you trying to do?

[Keiichi is at the room where he terrified Miyoko, totally chilling at the chair and using the footrest as before. Just that this time the footrest remains as a piece of furniture.]

Right now? Relaxing.

If you were talking about the brat though, I was just making sure she will think twice before getting close to the house again. And that her older self will have a few nice memories when she returns.

[older self...?

he enters the other room.] She's a kid. You invited her in.

I honestly don't know what got me to do it, must have been the experiment. Otherwise I would have let her freeze and die on the streets.

[He waves a hand dismissing it all.]

She's not a kid anyway. She's Takano. Before she changed her name, but still Takano.

[...That girl is the person who wanted to murder Rika?

Keiichi's actions now make more sense... even if they aren't excusable. She isn't someone he'd want in his house normally but--]

Right now she's not. Scaring her won't solve anything.

[Primo cackles again at that.]

It won't, but it will make things more interesting. Thanks to the stupid experiment she got to know that Keiichi Maebara is in the village, maybe she even got to see Rika. Information that her older self will probably keep.

But now... Well, it'll be interesting to see what she does now.

[She saw a dead Keiichi. And a Keiichi that floated and teleported around. What will she think? That it was all an illusion? That there are two Keiichi's? Or that it was all just "Souji" being affected by the experiment?]

[he has a point and it is worrying, but Minato'd still rather debate this with him when he's sane.]

Just leave her alone until the experiment is over, Keiichi.

There's little left to do with her anyway, unless she proves to not have learned her lesson.

[Then again, there's Regina, he supposes the woman would like to have some fun as well. Specially with her curses, show Takano what a real curse is... Primo smiles amused by the idea.]

But don't worry. I won't get close to her unless she comes to me, and I doubt that will happen.

[Unfortunately for Minato, he can't make promises about Regina. Primo raises a hand, waving it lightly and the tea set from his home appears floating in front of him, serving itself without so much as a fickle of his fingers.]

Want some tea?

[...okay, since when can Keiichi use 'summon teapot.' He eyes it.]

...No thanks.

[Primo could wonder about why he hadn't used his powers more often, but as he remembers things, whenever he was alone or had to do something on his own he used them. Other times, specially when Minato was around, the serving and such was made by the girls, not him. He takes the tea cup and takes a sip.]

More for me, I suppose.

[And the teapot is gone. He's totally chilling here as if nothing was wrong in the world.]

[...]

I should go.

[he could stick around Keiichi until this strange event effect wore off, but that would be leaving Miyoko alone. ...And Takano or not, right now she's a frightened kid.]

[He doesn't look at the other upon talking, apparently more interested in his tea.]

Where to?

[Hopefully not after a certain rat.]

When we were both little I said I'd help. She's still little and needs it.

The only help that little one would ever get is the help that will lead her to murder Rika and a whole village, as well as anyone else that was around by chance. She has already decided such a fate for herself, no matter what good intentions you may have. No matter what good words you use.

She's a murderer and far beyond point of changing that fact. Not to mention that this is just temporal, a game of the Malnosso to enjoy themselves. Contact with that girl will just put you in her list of people to use and eliminate once she's old again.
