025th Shattering * Audio / Written
New year, new life. Isn't that what people say? I suppose in general we can say life is the same for us here, right? But that's how it usually goes, not everyone changes countries, kingdoms or whatever there is in your world, each year, do they? It's in the smaller details where things change and new ones come to us.
We're still starting, but does anyone have something new already? Or plan to get something new during this year? I myself have got a girlfriend, the beautiful Ushiromiya Ange, sorry guys but she's out of the market now!
[And he's laughing like an idiot. Really it's not hard to see he's very happy with that. Any more immature and he would be doing a dance going "girlfriend, girlfriend, Ange's now my girlfriend".]
[Filtered to the Hughes family | 100% Unhackable]
So... Who wants to go to have dinner at the Seventh Heaven one of those days? Or have a sandwich based dinner, I can do those.

[There's a quick but decently done portrait of Minato in the page now. Under it appears a written message.]
Good-looking young man, single and without any compromise. Very intelligent and resourceful, knows the worth of listening to others and puts it in practice often. Likes to sleep, take pictures, listen to music and hang around the village. Has been around here for three years or so. Good friend of his friends. Looking for more friends, specially females. For more references you can ask about Arisato Minato to: Minako, Shiki, Haruhi and Keiichi.
Interested people can ring directly to Arisato Minato's journal.

[Since most of what the Malnosso do does not seem to lead to good things.]
...I would. [His voice is warm, even if it's painful to think about. But Keiichi knows him and he isn't going to shy away from the subject.] That had been the plan--to have one big, happy family and a full house. There'd never be a dull moment.
voice;
[Even if it hurts. He wonders, though, if it's better than not seeing them ever again once they leave. Hope can be a great thing, but it can also lock people in a position they can't get away from and only causes them more pain.
He smiles a bit, chuckling even at the comment, though it's a sad one.]
And when they got older and got their own wives and husbands and children, the house would get full of even more kids. And for family dinners you would have to book a whole restaurant just for your family. And when going around the street people would be calling strangers Hughes, because with how many there would be chances are they would be a member of the family. The Hughes clan.
[He can't help to chuckle again at the image.]
It's not the same... But I think your house is now quite full, isn't it?
Re: voice;
That's a keen way of looking at things. Nothing's really permanent in Luceti, is it? Having your most important people with you might not be, but losing your most important people isn't, either. And we're lucky to have the chance to meet entirely new people here, too.
[Now this is a mental image he can get behind. If only he can have it in his dreams, the idea of the Hughes family being far and spread just beyond the three of them, full of smiling faces and love and laughter.
...He'd just have to take in friends as family, now, though. And that would make his heart full enough.]
It is. Having Ed, Al, and Winry with us is a delight. They're really great kids, and they bring their friends into the home as well.
voice;
But nothing is ever permanent, is it? There are people who can claim to have more chances to have a full live, but there are many others who can't. Not even age matters, you can be an old policeman about to retire in a matter of months and still die, by natural causes or by being murdered. But even with a seemingly peaceful lifestyle there's no warranty. You can be just a small kid that gets murdered by a psycho before you get even your first crush.
At least... Things not being permanent also affects bad things. Nothing bad lasts eternally.
[At least not most of the things.
Keiichi smiles again, right, that's Hughes for sure. Even if he shouldn't be surprised or take notice of it, he still does. Maybe he still hasn't got over it after all and is afraid of suddenly finding out that there's something different, as tiny as it may be... Or maybe it's because, even if he doesn't want to, if the girls from his world came here he would have to be ready for something to be different between them.]
That's right. It doesn't really matter if there are blood ties, families are more than that. If a kid loses both his parents and gets adopted by a couple of loving parents, they will still be a family. So even if you won't have more kids of your own, I'm sure the Hughes clan can still spread. Everyone who knows you three loves you, after all. If you presented Elicia-chan for Luceti president she would win without sweating!
voice;
Then I'll just look forward to having one, big happy family here in Luceti, then. There are plenty of people here I definitely wouldn't mind having in my family. Including you, Keiichi.
voice;
You barely know me. Even if I know you, isn't it soon to think something like that?
voice;
I may not know you very well, but I know you well enough to know you're a great person. And that's exactly the kind of person I want to have around.
voice;
Thanks, Hughes-san. It means a lot to me.
