New year, new life. Isn't that what people say? I suppose in general we can say life is the same for us here, right? But that's how it usually goes, not everyone changes countries, kingdoms or whatever there is in your world, each year, do they? It's in the smaller details where things change and new ones come to us.

We're still starting, but does anyone have something new already? Or plan to get something new during this year? I myself have got a girlfriend, the beautiful Ushiromiya Ange, sorry guys but she's out of the market now!

I doubt you could make anything ugly even on purpose or by accident anyway. It's not about policies, it's about instinct. You would be rabid and changing it back in five seconds... And I bet it wouldn't even be that ugly to begin with.

Alone, mostly. He went around giving gifts on Christmas, which isn't bad, but apparently then just spent his time sliding over the snow and then sleeping at home. When I returned from my date with Ange he was sleeping there. And about New Year... I'm pretty sure I just missed him sleeping on the couch by a narrow margin.

I'm going to take that as a compliment, even if you used the word rabid.

...are you kidding?! Oh my gosh, if I had know that...I thought for sure he was going to have plans with you before and after your date! ...wait how was your date, by the way? Ugh I can't believe he just slept through the holidays!

Hey, the word rabid there is used with the biggest respect and appreciation one can give to a word. And it's a compliment, yeah. Unless you want to take on the challenge to do something ugly, which is pretty pointless.

I'm not kidding. I got the assumption he would do something with Minako and Loki, and I wasn't sure when would my date end or how or in what mood I would be so I didn't push any plans after it. If I had known it would happen that way I would have done something more, you can be sure of that. Anyway I would introduce him to everyone I know, but he mostly knows them already, unless I drag him to Brigade meetings, so this also works as a call in arms in that sense.

Oh, and my date was awesome. I took her to Hinamizawa to watch the village's festival, then dinner and fireworks. By the time we were going to the fireworks we were a couple already.

It'd be an interesting challenge is the thing. Maybe...maybe I'll put it on my list for later.

I didn't know everyone he knew so it's hard to keep an actual track, but somehow I can tell he has lost several. Not to mention the times people have come and then left not long after like with Junpei.

And yes, maybe contentment is the word for it. Still it makes no sense, he can go with anything and it's not as if he avoids people as far as I know, so how come he's not getting more people? Maybe he has also fallen into habit because Minako is the outgoing one of the two?

...totally forgot about Junpei. When you put it that way...ugh.

I don't think so. But we talked a bit and I thought... Your birthday falls on the third and his and Minako's on the fifth, so why not make some sort of birthday party on the fourth for all of you? You can invite everyone you know, so will Minako and Minato. That way he will get to know a lot of people in one go! And without it being suspicious!

So really it's the perfect plan. [She's surprised she didn't think about that herself.] Keiichi, that's a great idea! I've got a ton of people I can invite, it'll be great.

I knew you would approve and I made sure he won't sneak away, besides, being a party for also Minako and you I doubt he would ever consider doing that.
