My my, and just what brought on this little bout of paranoia, hm?

Be thankful. It is unlikely that she learned how to hack such flimsy filters yet.

It's just that there's someone in the village now whom I would like to avoid as much as possible, or rather to have them not know that Keiichi Maebara is here as long as possible.

[It's what happens when the curse is done by a person and one knows it, usually the accusations turn towards the person and not the concept. Actually more than the filter I just don't want anyone calling for Keiichi through the journals openly. For... Several personal reasons.

The Blue Rogues are meant to be an exploration force at first, but given how this place can be, we're primarily a defense force. We deal with threats to the safety of the village from both within and from outside. We're not really police, but if someone's causing problems, it's our job to take care of it.

Why, were you interested in joining? Or did you need us for something else?

I'm far older than you are. [Although if pieces had lifespans then Keiichi's piece would be close to her age as well. But they don't.]

But you don't look so, so it's kind of difficult to get it. Even if I can understand it, I mean, it must have taken many years to travel through the kakeras and all. So it's logical that you would be older, but at the same time I'm not sure if there can be a unit of time to be considered in the place between those fragments.

If time was relevant for a witch I would be significantly older than you. Centuries older.

But time is not relevant for a witch - I exist in a place where linear time has no meaning. A couple weeks can be equivalent to a couple centuries and so forth.

It is meaningless to try and reason it out. You cannot comprehend such things at your current state.

That's what I meant! After all time as I know it is nothing but a unit created by humans to measure the length of a day or a night and their own lifespans. But you are something beyond humans, right? You don't live in the same plane as us even if you can come and spend time on it, so to apply time to you is meaningless. You yourself said it just now, time is irrelevant to you, thus you're ageless.

So to say that you're 'old enough' for anything is stupid. And if linear time has no meaning for you then wouldn't it be better than rather than say that you have lived a lot of years, to say that you've experienced them?

[A pause.]

Ah, sorry, you know I'm just too stupid to try to comprehend at least something about you. Or to stubborn to stop trying.

[Probably because Keiichi has been long enough at Luceti to not reject the idea of witches, or maybe because even with being told the truth of his world he himself had something in the back of his head nudging. Anyway, without Luceti he would have never faced directly the idea of a witch so it would have never mattered much.

Yeah, at least as long as they listen and think properly, right? Being too stubborn and not thinking or listening doesn't accomplish anything good... But I suppose that accomplishing something bad is still an accomplishment.
